Description

Interleukin-21 (IL-21) is a cytokine produced mainly by T follicular helper cells and certain innate lymphoid cells, regulating immune responses by promoting B cell differentiation, antibody production, and T cell activation. It also enhances NK cell activity and plays a crucial role in germinal center formation and inflammation modulation.

Recombinant human IL-21 is used in research to study immune regulation, cell-mediated immunity, and to develop targeted treatments for autoimmune diseases, cancer, and chronic infections.
